With a huge demand over summer 2020 to cycle the Greenway from Achill to Westport Paddy & Nelly Bike hire have introduced a new shuttle bus service from Westport. This bus service will take our customers out to the starting point at the Achill Island Hotel in Achill Sound.
This Shuttle bus journey lasts for around 45 minutes as it passes through the villages of Newport and Mulranny. This allows our guests and customers to experience the stunning views out over Clew Bay to Croagh Patrick and Clare Island.
We will have a new audio tape for our 2021 season, which will feature a local history, legends and stories from across the centuries. This will also include recommendations of places to see and visit making for an even greater trip.
The Achill to Westport Greenway is a 43km off road cycle with luscious fews along the Wild Atlantic Way.
