The planned town laid out along the Carrowbeg, the families who lived and left here, and the wider history of Clew Bay and the west of Ireland. For those less about dates and more about atmosphere, it’s simply a lovely way to get your bearings — the Octagon, the tree-lined Mall, the river through the middle of town, and the everyday life of a working Mayo town. You’ll finish knowing Westport far better than a map ever tells you.

Admission to the Heritage Centre is included, so you can carry the story on after the ride. Afterwards we stop into McCarthy's to pull a pint and experience a true Westport living landmark!

The tour lasts around two hours and is conducted in English. It’s an easy, sociable pace suitable for all fitness levels and no experience needed. Prices from €25 per person. You will also select your bicycle on booking which is yours to keep for the rest of tehe day!
